Dr. John Morrison

Associate Dean, Online BBA Program

Dr. John Morrison is the Associate Dean of the Online BBA Program at Yorkville University and brings both academic and industry experience into the classroom. He worked for over 8 years in sales and marketing leadership roles at both domestic and multinational corporations across various manufacturing industries including consumer packaged goods and agriculture/forestry. John has completed a BBA, MBA, and most recently a PhD in Organizational Psychology at the University of New Brunswick. He is passionate about the science related to building and fostering high-performing teams, as well as workplace environments that contribute to employee flourishing. Over the past decade, John has developed, taught courses, and held academic leadership positions across both public and private post-secondary institutions. John has published in the area of organizational psychology and is actively engaged in research and the development of future publications.

Admission Requirements

Yorkville University’s Bachelor of Business Administration Online program is 100 percent online and can be taken from anywhere in the world. Domestic and international students have the same admissions requirements and tuition and fees.

However, please note that applicants must choose which campus to apply to for the Bachelor of Business Administration Online program. Each campus offers different specializations and has slightly different admissions requirements and transfer credit policies.

To apply to our Bachelor of Business Administration program, you will have to complete the following steps:

  1. Create an account here and submit your online application form.
  2. Pay the $150 application fee
  3. Submit the following documents:
    1. Official transcripts
    2. Resume
    3. Detailed course descriptions if applying for transfer credits
  4. For international students only: provide proof of English language proficiency (IELTS band score of 6.5 or equivalent)

*Note: Total program cost may be reduced when applying applicable transfer credits. Costs below assumes full program cost without applicable transfer credits applied. The cost does not include textbooks, expendable supplies, equipment, and resource fees. To understand your specific program cost, please speak with an advisor.

  • BBA Tuition: $59,160
  • Cost per credit: $493
  • Program cost includes $300 seat fee and $150 application fee
    • $300 Seat Fee is deducted from Student’s first tuition payment

Assuming an average course load, tuition cost per term is $5,916

By selecting to take more or fewer courses per term, costs will be updated accordingly. A typical course is 3 credits. Students must complete 120 study credits.

Total program tuition may vary based on actual credit transfers and course equivalencies.

Most students in the Bachelor of Business Administration Online program are working professionals aged 25 to 44 years old with significant career experience and who live in Canada.

A small average online class size of 20 students fosters participation and teamwork and is supported by industry-experienced faculty and an online learning community.

The Bachelor of Business Administration Online program was designed to help you fulfill many of the prerequisites to apply for certification to become a Chartered Professional Accountant, Payroll Compliance Practitioner, Certified Payroll Manager, Certified Associate in Project Management and Project Management Professional.
