Alumni Office Launches Website and Inaugural Alumni Achievement Award

After much anticipation, Yorkville University has finally launched a beautiful new Alumni website.  The website also happens to be where Yorkville alumni can find the application form for our inaugural alumni award, the winner of which will be revealed at the Alumni Award & Welcome Party Celebration, taking place at the Delta Hotel after the graduation ceremony ‪on the evening Friday, June 23rd. To find and download the Alumni Award application form, head to the “Get Involved” menu on the site’s navigation bar.

And while you’re there, take some time to acquaint yourself with the entirety of our impressive new website, which will flourish thanks to input and collaboration from you, our alumni community.  We look forward to the website becoming the nexus for all Yorkville Alumni, including Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Master of Education in Adult Education and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology graduates from every year.

In addition to offering links and information on important resources such as forms and transcripts and designations and certifications province-by-province, the website features a “News” section, where visitors can read about the exciting triumphs and accomplishments of individual alumni like Talia Camozzi, an MACP graduate who is working on writing and publishing her second book, or Paulo Brasil, a BBA graduate who has overcome challenges to excel at school and in his career.  Fresh stories are added regularly, and we’re always eager to receive suggestions for inspirational Yorkville University graduates making a difference in the world.

The “Events” menu gives alumni an opportunity to submit their own events, and we encourage all our former students to include Yorkville in your alumni-related plans and activities so that we can help to promote and celebrate with you.  Other ways to get involved through the new website include becoming an ambassador for Yorkville, which offers alumni an excellent opportunity to hone leadership skills, providing you with kind of key experiences and volunteer credentials that employers are always looking for.

And don’t forget to submit your profile to our growing Alumni Directory, which you can peruse to find fellow classmates, or to make new connections with colleagues in your field. In fact, it’s the spirit of connection and engagement that drives the purpose of the Alumni Community, and a similar sense of engagement that we’re looking for in our Outstanding Alumnus of 2017.  So, check out the new site, apply for the 2017 Alumni Award, and share the site on all your social media channels, to spread the word about the new online home for Yorkville University Alumni.

See you in Fredericton at graduation on June 23!
