ApplyBoard Tuition Deposit Refund Information

By paying the tuition deposit through the ApplyBoard Payment Portal (either directly, or through a third party such as an education agent), a student agrees to ApplyBoard’s terms and conditions, including ApplyBoard’s Service Fee.

Service Fee:

An ApplyBoard Service Fee is applied when a student chooses to engage the services of ApplyBoard while applying to Yorkville University.  Specifically, when a student pays a tuition deposit through the ApplyBoard Payment Portal, the following service fees are charged as part of the deposit:

  • ApplyBoard Service Fee for the BBA is $6,750 (January/ April/ July 2020 start).
  • ApplyBoard Service Fee for the BID is $7,219 (January/ April/ July 2020 start).

Note: The Service Fee for October 2020 start may be increased by 4-6%.

Students who are unsuccessful in obtaining a study permit are refunded their ApplyBoard Service Fee. Proof of a study permit refusal is required before this refund will be issued. Study permit refusal documents may be verified with Canadian authorities before the processing of refunds.

Upon receipt of a study permit, the ApplyBoard service fee becomes non-refundable. However, the fee will be applied to the student’s third term of tuition upon successful completion of the first eight weeks of the third term.

Students who receive a study permit and withdraw before Thursday of week eight of their third term of study at Yorkville University forfeit the ApplyBoard Service Fee (as listed above).
