As we begin to commemorate National Indigenous History Month, Yorkville University sends its sincerest condolences to the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation and all Indigenous peoples on the tragic discovery of the remains of 215 Indigenous children at a former residential school in Kamloops B.C.

We invite members of our community to educate themselves on the long-lasting and devastating impacts of residential schools on Indigenous peoples by learning more about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Final Report and its Calls to Action.
