YU First in Canada to Deliver Studiosity 24/7 Support Service to Students

TORONTO, MARCH 16, 2021 – Yorkville University is now the first university in Canada to partner with Studiosity – the global leader in online student support.

“The success of our students, throughout their programs and beyond, is always top of mind for Yorkville University. Collectively we are always looking for innovative solutions to help our students move through their programs. Partnering with Studiosity is our latest initiative and we are thrilled to be part of Studiosity’s launch into the Canadian market,” Dr. Deirdre Pickerell, Yorkville University’s Dean of Student Success.

“Students lead busy lives, often focusing on school work in the evenings and on weekends, when they may not have immediate access to other services. By partnering with Studiosity, students can connect with a tutor any time and from anywhere, getting the help they need when they need it.”

As of March 15, Yorkville University students, including students enrolled in the Toronto Film School Online programs,  now have free access to the ‘Studiosity’ service, which allows them to get academic writing feedback anytime they need it. This 24/7, anytime, anywhere tutoring service provides all Yorkville University students with 10 interactions with a Studiosity tutor between now and June 30th.

The service also allows students to live chat anytime with a ‘subject specialist’ who can help them figure out a study question. The offering covers core subject support, including writing, research, referencing, foundational maths, science, and more. The service is available whenever students need it – even after hours, on weekends, and during breaks.

Yorkville University students can access Studiosity through the school’s online campus at https://success.yorkvilleu.ca/tutoring .
