A Year in Review
2015 was an incredible year for Yorkville University. By the end of the year we saw about 300 students graduate from their programs of study. In June, we hosted an incredible graduation ceremony in Fredericton, and throughout the year we also saw the beginning of two new Yorkville programs – our Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and our Bachelor of Business degree with specializations. This, plus the incredible growth in our Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program has kept the Registrar’s Office and Student Service team busy! Together, our team serves nearly 1700 students.
2015 Graduation Ceremony
2015 has been a year of growth for Yorkville University and the 2015 graduation ceremony was no exception. This has been our largest ceremony to date with 82 graduates in attendance. This was the first ceremony with graduates from our Master of Counselling Psychology, Master of Education in Adult Education and Bachelor of Business Administration programs. This gave us the unique opportunity to hear from three different valedictorians, and gain insight into the distinctive path each student takes on their educational journey at Yorkville.
The Registrar’s Office is looking forward to the next ceremony in June, 2017 when we can prepare for an even larger gathering of students!
What’s to Come?
We are excited for a new year, which will bring along with it even more growth. We are looking at new ways to better serve our students, including adding a third program advisor. The Registrar’s Office is excited to welcome back Robert Greenough who is working with both Megan Gallant and Benjamin Giberson in our student services department ! We also plan to further develop our student life community and engage in more campus activity, while increasing the ease of communication between students and staff, making it easier to find the answers to your everyday questions. We look forward to an exciting year to come!
