The Master of Education in Educational Leadership is an innovative program designed for professionals who want to enhance their leadership skills while developing critical thinking that will prepare them for emerging local and global trends in education.

The Educational Administration specialization helps students’ bridge theory and practice to become effective educational administrators in school-based contexts. Participants in this specialization explore the leadership role of administrators in creating school culture and community, supporting classroom diversity and social justice, and managing organizational behaviour and conflict. Through attention to communication and respect for stakeholders, graduates will be prepared to address the challenges and opportunities in K-12 administration.

The Leadership in Learning specialization prepares students to use theory and best practice to lead educational initiatives in public, private, and not-for-profit contexts. Grounded in organizational behaviour, participants learn to develop innovative programs respectful of workplace diversity and attentive to equity issues while committed to augmenting performance and promoting growth of both individuals and organizations.

This fully online program can be completed in two years and offers a wide range of courses, each of which has been carefully developed by subject matter experts across Canada. Our instructors have successfully completed doctoral studies and also bring rich professional practice to ensure a well rounded, rewarding learning experience for students.

This new specialization is now accepting applications for program start in May 2015. To find out more about the Master of Education (Educational Leadership) CLICK HERE.
