Yorkville University seeks an innovative academic leader and progressive thinker to serve as Dean, School of Business. Reporting to the Vice President Academic (VPA) BC, the successful candidate will manage Yorkville University’s Bachelor of Business Administration program which is offered online and on campus. In addition, the Dean will assume leadership for the development and rollout of a Master of Business Administration program which will be submitted to British Columbia’s Minister of Advanced Education.

The Dean is responsible for the quality of the student experience which at Yorkville University means recruiting, orienting and retaining credentialed, experienced and caring faculty. It means ensuring that courses are current and that learning experiences are engaging and support students’ achievement of learning outcomes. And it means that students’ rights and responsibilities are maintained as per University policies and best practices.

The Dean implements the University’s governance model and the on-going alignment of the program with the expectations of regulators, accreditors and the marketplace (students and employers.)

The Dean develops and maintains professional and academic connections to ensure programs meet the changing needs of businesses, locally, nationally and internationally.
