Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess a recognized master’s degree or higher in clinical psychology, counselling psychology, social work, educational counselling, or a related field. International applicants who are not clear on whether their degree is equivalent to a Canadian masters degree should inquire about the suitability of their background for participation in the program.
Courses are conducted in English; course materials and readings are from the English language professional literature; and written assignments are to be submitted in English. While there is no specific TOEFL requirement for participation in post graduate courses, applicants unsure of their fluency in oral and written English are encouraged to discuss their interest with the Dean or Program Director. Please contact the admissions office through our request information Form for more information about the admissions process.
All international transcripts must be officially notarized and officially translated if not in English. The admissions team, in some circumstances, may ask that international documents be submitted to World Education Services for verification. There is no application fee. Applicants must submit an official transcript of their master’s degree coursework, which states that a master’s degree has been conferred.
