Biopsychosocial Aspects of Disease II

This course will introduce students to the role of health psychology in the prevention and treatment of cancer, HIV – AIDS and chronic pain. Interventions for the insomnia / fatigue that are frequently associated with these illnesses and their treatment will also be covered. Evidence for complementary and alternative medicine practices will be evaluated.
