Career Management Professional Program
The Career Management Professional Program is designed to meet the professional development needs of career practitioners, career/employment counsellors, human resource management professionals, counsellors, rehabilitation professionals, and practitioners in related fields. It is Canada’s first approved training provider for the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Credential. All courses are offered online, giving students across Canada and internationally, as well as those in remote areas, an opportunity to access professional development and skills upgrading in their own communities.
Participants may register for one course or combine several to earn a specialized certificate. Each CMPP certificate requires completion of four core courses, two electives, and an applied project (with the GCDF and the Personal and Professional Development / Life Skills Coach certificates which have specific course requirements). All courses are eligible for 3 CEU’s toward the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association’s Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) designation, and 10 or 20 CEU’s (depending on the specific course) toward the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals’ Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) designation.
The CMP Program has many exciting specializations to choose from including:
- Career Transition Specialist
- Employment Facilitation / Work Search Specialist
- Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF)
- Multicultural Specialist
- Organizational / Career Development Specialist
- Personal and Professional Development / Life Skills Coach
